Shannon Truesdell, ASID | Owner & Principal Designer
An Oakland County native, Shannon knew from an early age that she wanted to be a designer. She was always excited to see the choices that her family made in building and remodeling houses. Shannon graduated from Wayne State University with her Bachelor's in Fine Arts in Interior Design in 2002. Shannon received her national interior design certification, NCIDQ, in 2005. After years of working with other designers and architects, Shannon decided to open her own design firm in 2012. Since then she has been working with some of the most prominent architects and builders in Michigan and Florida. She has been honored with many local and national awards for her work; including Detroit Home Awards and NAHB Best in American Living Awards. Shannon believes that every homeowner brings a specific style to life and their home. By working closely together with the client and getting to know them, the team at Kirkshire Design Group is able to have the home reflect the client's personality and taste. Shannon and her husband are presently restoring their mid-century ranch and have an Instagram famous Boston Terrier, Margo.

Annika has a degree in Interior Design from Oakland Community College. Before coming to KDG, she worked for a commercial design/build company for three years. Presently, she oversees all of our Hunter Douglas Window Treatments, along with assisting on presentations and digital prints. Annika enjoys cooking and playing with her two dogs, Rita and Mable.

Hannah is currently working towards obtaining her degree in Interior Design from Lawrence Technological University. While finishing up her degree, Hannah brings fresh ideas to the table with our social media, and helps plan for day-to-day tasks in the office. When not studying or working, Hannah likes working out and spending time with her friends and family.

Margo is Shannon's Boston Terrier puppy.
When she's at the office, you can find Margo helping with finish selections, joining in on client meetings, and eating the office plants. When she's not hard at work, Margo loves playing fetch, snoozing, and getting belly rubs.

Miles is Shannon's other Boston Terrier puppy. While at the office, he enjoys playing with his sister or relaxing in his mom's office, where he attentively observes during client meetings. Miles loves playing, eating apples, and napping.
