An Oakland County native, Shannon knew from an early age that she wanted to be a designer. She was always excited to see the choices that her family made in building and remodeling houses. Shannon graduated from Wayne State University with her Bachelor's in Fine Arts in Interior Design in 2002. Shannon received her national interior design certification, NCIDQ, in 2005. After years of working with other designers and architects, Shannon decided to open her own design firm in 2012. Since then she has been working with some of the most prominent architects and builders in Michigan and Florida. She has been honored with many local and national awards for her work; including Detroit Home Awards and NAHB Best in American Living Awards. Shannon believes that every homeowner brings a specific style to life and their home. By working closely together with the client and getting to know them, the team at Kirkshire Design Group is able to have the home reflect the client's personality and taste.
